BATAVIA — City firefighters Local 896 said Saturday on its Facebook page that its members will be collecting toys for kids in the Batavia area this holiday season.
“This is the third year joining forces with Batavia Community Schools in this effort. Gifts can be dropped off at City Fire Headquarters at 18 Evans St. until 5 p.m. on Dec. 19,” the union said. “We will be hoping to provide for kids of all ages. Thank you for your continued support.”
