The game between the Fairmont and the Luverne saw Fairmont’s Kamryn Van Batavia in deadly form. Kamryn Van Batavia scored an incredible four goals in Fairmont’s 8-0 road win.
Payton Behr, Gretta McClure, Izzy Steensma and Ellisyn Van Batavia scored the remaining goals for the road side.
The Luverne players took the lead early into the first period, with a goal from Izzy Steensma. Tenley Behr and Macie Edstrom assisted.
The Luverne players increased the lead to 2-0 halfway through the first when Kamryn Van Batavia scored, assisted by Payton Behr.
The Luverne players increased the lead to 3-0 with another goal from Kamryn Van Batavia late in the first, assisted by Payton Behr and Izzy Steensma.
The Luverne players scored three goals in second period an held the lead 6-0 going in to the second break.
Kamryn Van Batavia increased the lead to 7-0 early in the third period, assisted by Payton Behr.
In the end the 8-0 goal came from Kamryn Van Batavia who increased the Luverne’s players lead, assisted by Tenley Behr, in the middle of the third. The 8-0 goal was the last one of the game.
This makes an impressive four straight victories for the Luverne players.
